The ancient 7-planet Chaldean sequence assigns a planetary ruler to every hour of the day. NUMINOS tracks which planet governs the current hour — Sun, Moon, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, or Saturn — and displays the day ruler.
Chinese Shichen System
The traditional Chinese 12-hour system divides the day into twelve two-hour watches, each governed by one of the 12 zodiac animals and a corresponding Five-Element energy. The Cosmic Clock shows which animal watch is active and its element.
Vedic Nakshatras

Planetary hours are an ancient Hermetic timing system that assigns one of seven classical planets (Sun, Moon, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, Saturn) to each hour of the day in the Chaldean order. The sequence starts with the planet that rules the day (e.g., Sun rules Sunday, Moon rules Monday) and cycles through all seven. NUMINOS calculates the current planetary hour ruler based on your local time and timezone.
